In an effort to modernize and convert the aging elementary schools into high performance buildings, the Tri-Valley School District contracted FacTech to commission the elementary schools and provide expertise on ensuring a state-of-the-art educational experience.

​

Through countless hours of hard work from the entire project team, we successfully eliminated fuel oil entirely, implemented a new thermal envelope which assisted in the reduction of both facility's overall energy consumption by nearly two million KBTU annually, further optimizing a healthy and safe learning environment.   

​

The project was also awarded the Alternative & Clean Energy Grant, as well as designed under the USGBC LEED program for Gold Certification.
