Large PV Solar Array System
PROJECT INFO
5,148 solar panels capture the sun's solar power and output DC power to AC inverters. Specialized transformers then boost the voltage to 12,470 volts before coupling into the district owned primary power distribution system.
Cumberland Valley School District engaged FacTech to perform professional commissioning and project management services for one of the state's largest public education solar PV array installations. Today, the solar array system is generating power to supply the entire CVSD main campus, directly offsetting grid power consumption while generating Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC's).
