In accordance with the Lehighton Area School District's (LASD) Facilities Improvement Program, which involved all schools district wide, FacTech was contracted to administer an optimized educational atmosphere for the students at LASD's middle school.

A crucial component to the success of the project was to integrate aggressive energy saving features and the utilization of the latest technologies. In its commitment to provide students with best educational experience, the LASD embraced the USGBC LEED program to assist in attaining their high standards for excellence. In addition, the District also received a High-Performance Green Schools Planning Grant for their commitment to provide the students with a state-of-the-art learning experience.
