The groundbreaking ceremony for Bedford Rural Electric Cooperatives' new headquarters was a huge success with the design team and general contractor, as well as community leaders and executives from across Bedford County in attendance. The new headquarters will occupy just over 13 acres at the Bedford County Business Park I.

During the ceremony, it was stated when the Bedford County Business Park came to fruition 25 years ago, it was Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative who was one of the first financial backers of the project. Now it's come full circle, in which Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative comprises the final two lots of the Business Park.
